Western White House
During his presidency, Nixon searched high and low for a California “hideaway” and he found 5 bedroom, 7 bathroom, and 6,208 square foot mansion in San Clemente.
Although the home is closed to the public now you can still get a taste of its grandeur by driving on Avenida del Presidente to see what life there may have been like for Nixon as he entertained many well-known names in the world of politics here from a generation ago.
